Dear Mr and Mrs Ellis, Re: Application for Membership in Family and Children's Services Earlier this year, you spoke to our Executive Director Peter Ringrose, at the agency's offices and requested to become members of Family and Children's Services of Waterloo Region. Mr Ringrose explained that your request would be considered by the Nominating Committee and that you would be notified of the committee's decision after its meeting. I am writing to let you know that the Nominating Committee has reviewed your request and has concluded that your application does not meet the criteria for membership in Family and Children's Services. In your letter you state the decision was based on my "application criteria". The application I submitted to Mr. Ringrose consisted of my name, address and a $10.00 fee. Would you inform me of the requirements or conditions you are looking for so I can have a fair chance of meeting the standard needed to become a member? I'll look forward to hearing from you with your explanation of the criteria I failed to meet.
