Court File No.: C-1290-03 BETWEEN: Plaintiffs Defendant I, ANEURIN ELLIS, of the City of Kitchener, and Province of Ontario, MAKE OATH AND SAY: 1. I am the defendant in this action and as such have knowledge of the matter hereinafter deposed to. 2. I am employed part-time as a retail sales associate, a husband, and stay-at-home-dad (homemaker) to three wonderful children who have been the subject of a kidnapping and ransom committed by the Family and Children's Services of the Waterloo Region of whom the plaintiff Mr. Peter Ringrose is the executive director. 3. On August 31, 2005 my wife Patricia Ellis received a letter from the Family and Children's Services of the Waterloo Region informing her that Superintendent Kevin Chalk of the Waterloo Regional Police Service was no longer the President of the Board of Directors Exhibit "A". I now believe that there may no longer be a conflict of interest between the Family and Children's Services of the Waterloo Region and the Waterloo Regional Police Service and therefore I am willing to cooperate with the police in the criminal prosecution of Mr. Ringrose and Mr. Boles for their role in the kidnapping and torture of my children. 4.
