Social worker season and bag limits
1300.01 GENERAL
- Any person with a valid Province of Ontario hunting license may harvest social workers.
- Taking of social workers with traps or deadfalls is permitted. The use of children as bait is prohibited.
- Killing of social workers with a vehicle is prohibited. If accidentally struck, remove dead social worker to roadside and proceed to nearest car wash.
- It is unlawful to chase, herd, or harvest social workers from a snow machine, helicopter, or aircraft.
- It shall be unlawful to shout "child abuse", "child neglect", or "crown wardship" for the purpose of trapping social workers.
- It shall be unlawful to hunt social workers within 100 meters of nurseries schools and daycare centres.
- It shall be unlawful to use marketable children or foster care providers to attract social workers.
- It shall be unlawful to hunt social workers within 200 meters of schools, emergency rooms, or low-income housing.
- If a social worker is elected to local or provincial government, it shall be a felony to hunt, trap, or possess it.
- Social workers are exempt from provincial weight limits.
- Stuffed or mounted social workers must have a provincial health ministry inspection for all manners of lice, scabies and rabies.
- It shall be illegal for a hunter to disguise himself as a child abuser, neglectful parent, substance abusive parent, foster care provider, or mandatory reporter.
