A cartoon produced by Eliza Gauger in response to the 9/11
attack on the World Trade Center, but applicable as well to a
political system that dissolves families.
How can you help foster kids who have to move a lot? Donate
your old luggage! This was presented seriously, not as a spoof,
by KGET Bakersfield California on May 2, 2008.
Eight times child protectors examine a home and
find it safe for children. When a mother comes
to the same conclusion and leaves a child with a
lethal baby-sitter, child protectors punish her
by taking her other child.
You've heard of the term "bouncing baby". Well this is
what it means for the people of Solapur in India - dropping
babies from the roof of a temple into a bedspread fifty feet
below - apparently for good luck. It's believed it makes the
children strong.
A fourteen-year-old baby-sitter dared an
eight-year-old boy to touch her breast. When he
did so, he was charged with committing a lewd
act with a minor.
(mp3 files). Social worker Erin Satoor speaks
to a father about visiting his son. The second
recording occurred some time later, after a
complaint to the agency about the content of the
first. Can you detect the lie?
Foster children in care of Halifax Children's
Aid started a newsletter about their living
conditions. These drawings are from the first
issue. In later editions, editorial control by
social services changed the passion of youth to
the torpor of bureaucracy. The entire series is
at youthnewsletter.
Fathers 4 Justice in England has produced
five posters as part of its campaign to restore
the connection between fathers and children.
They are both thought-provoking and
amusing.
(pdf) EkaterinaEthier (Cathy) has a son coveted by Children's
Aid, more so because he is, in their terms, "special needs".
Cathy has been forced to place him in safety with relatives in
Bulgaria, an awkward refuge since his native language is
English. The true names are used since Children's Aid cannot
"protect" a boy outside of Canada.
Disco tribute to Dr David Southall, British courtroom expert who

Dr Southall.
Family simulation video game in which one
objective is to keep the baby away from the
social worker. Unlike real life, you have
options to drown or burn the social
worker.
Psychiatric medicine has finally recongnized the condition of
childhood syndrome. Clinical indicators include dwarfism (small
stature) and legume anorexia (failure to eat vegetables).
This spoof, created by Justine Cooper, of a drug for a new
psychiatric disorder is so convincing that it took in many
viewers, including medical professionals, in the Daneyal Mahmood
Gallery in New York.
This site by a Bellevue Washington lawyer
lampoons family law so effectively that some
doubt it is a spoof. Its production has the
fingerprints of broadcaster Glenn Sacks. Here
is a quote from the site reflecting the shameful
state of today's family culture:
Don't sleep with [your children] or spend
more than the absolute minimum time helping them
dress or bathe. Make sure the children have
their own beds and bedrooms and be firm about
them sleeping there. Don't let them fall asleep
with you, even on the couch watching a movie, or
come sleep with you in the middle of the night.
Lock your door if you have to.
In 1934 five identical twin girls were born to a poor family in
Corbeil Ontario. To prevent the father from profiting by
turning the girls into a sideshow, the Ontario government seized
custody, then turned the girls lives into a nine-year sideshow.
They grew up touch-deprived.
